Franklin D. Roosevelt
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, also nicknamed as FDR, was born on January 30, 1882, Hyde Park, New York. He attended Harvard College (graduated in 1903) and Columbia Law School. Roosevelt married Anna Eleanor Roosevelt on March 17, 1905. In 1921, Roosevelt was diagnosed with poliomyelitis. He was elected president in November 1932 while going against Herbert Hoover. Roosevelt became the 32nd president.
